Curt Fisher is a native of Minnesota, USA. He has lived in Mankato, Minnesota since first attending Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1966. Fisher began in the real estate industry in 1972 and has built a career as a successful commercial developer and realtor. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member and the founder and owner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group, a commercial real estate sales, leasing, management and development company, as well as the developer and owner of the Hilton Garden Inn Mankato. In addition, he owns land and many other commercial properties in Minnesota, as well as the Blue Tang Inn in San Pedro, Belize, located on the eastern coast of Central America. Fisher is one of Greater Mankato’s most active community supporters and volunteer. He recently finished a nine-year-term on the Minnesota State University Foundation Board, is currently a member of the Mankato Foundation Board, a member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato College of Business Advisory Council, a member of the Mankato Clinic Foundation Board of and a Trustee of his church. In addition to being well-known as a successful businessman and community supporter, Fisher enjoys a strong zest for life and new experiences. Some of Fisher’s recent adventures include piloting his airplane to Belize, sailing his catamaran across the Atlantic from South Africa to Brazil, finishing his voyage in Belize. He also enjoys scuba diving and collecting antique cars. Fisher has had a keen interest in aviation as a multi-engine instrument-rated private pilot since the mid 1970’s. He currently owns a new technology Diamond DA-42 twin engine airplane with diesel engines and a Glass Garmin cockpit. Additionally, Fisher is certified to fly and owns a 2010 powered parachute, which he enjoys flying from a landing strip at his home. Fisher and his wife of 46 years, Debbie, reside in their dream home along the Blue Earth River near Mankato. They have two grown sons and a daughter, and six grandchildren.
